Department of Education came into existence in the year 1993. After 24 years of its inception department along with other departments received permission to offer Honours course from the academic session 2017-2018. The Education is multidisciplinary subject, as it touches almost every aspects of human life. The subject is really playing a vital role in the college and society from the time of its inception, as it enables people to understand the value of education and also it encourages the students to participate in the growth and development of society.
Departmental Activities:
Besides the regular classes done through traditional lecture method, the department conducts seminars, group discussions, teaching and learning through audio- visual aids for the major students. It also gives regular assignments to the students and conduct sessional Tests. Apart from this academic activities, department also conduct extension services in nearby schools of the area where students get involved actively.
Facilities:
Department has a well equipped Psychological laboratory and Department has a good collection of more than 250 textbooks, references and Question banks as well that are accessible for both students and teachers.
